The Original piece was Sculpted by hand using locally-sourced Australian Clay by Spirit Artist Elena Steere. This Piece has been fired in a kiln twice, making it extremely tough and durable (which means it can be hung outdoors)

However, it is made of the same material as regular mugs and tableware, therefor it will shatter upon sudden severe impact like dropping from a height above 2m. To minimise this weakness and aid the mounting process, The Sculpture has been fused to a thick but lightweight weather-treated marine ply which has black hanging-wire on the back. The Marine ply has been painted in a black starry night outdoor acrylic and measures 41cm width, 61cm length, and 15cm depth away from the wall.

This Spirit Sculpture depicts a Spirit Guide named Ash Essessi.

Here is his Message:

Ash Essessi is most commonly known simply as Ash.

He is an Omnipotent Spirit that resides within the collective plant kingdom Spirits and looks over all who sit under, dwell within, heal with, or even ponder the Great Ash Tree. The Ash tree symbolises the World Tree―a tree that joined the three worlds: the underworld, the middle earth, and the spiritual realm. In Norse lore, Odin hung from Yggdrasil, the World Tree, for nine days and nights so that he might be granted wisdom. Yggdrasil was an ash tree, and since the time of Odin's ordeal, the ash has often been associated with divination and knowledge. It is eternally green, and lives in the middle of Asgard. Yggdrasil is an Individual Tree like You and I are individual humans, but the spirit of our group we call Man, In the same way, the group spirit of this Plant calls himself Ash. Rosicrucian and Freemasons understood that the underworld (The Physical body), the Middle Earth (consciousness) and The Spiritual Realm are none more important than the other. That is to say, The lesson of Ash is not to value any one of these elements above the other. The Body is not dirty or impure, and the spiritual realms are not Holier than thou, perfected beyond perfection. They are places with less fear and suffering, to be sure. However, Densities beyond 5th are plagued by one major limitation: Boredom. If all was perfected, love and light 24/7, no time, no space, no learning, simply mastery and perfection…it gets quite dull. There is a reason souls choose to incarnate all over the universe and that is to grow, to do more, see more, experience all things and feel all things. The Gifts of Middle earth (Consciousness) are most readily enjoyed through the Heart, in mindful experience with emotion.

Ash Just as beacons of light often guide ships to the shore, this sage is ushering in a period of personal growth and exploration. The Hermit represents wisdom earned by seeking the highest truth.

Often, looking for answers within requires time alone with few distractions. It requires introspection and concentrating less on the senses.

Although this can seem a little scary at first, committing to a personal quest for truth can be one of the most rewarding experiences of life.

The challenge of Ash is to be able to recognise a teacher in a humble disguise. This font of mysterious knowledge will not make it easy for the student to acquire his wisdom, as it takes time and long contemplation to fathom what he knows. He often speaks wordlessly, or in ancient and barbaric tongues, communicating with the elements, animals, and nature herself.

Ash advises that you think things through carefully. The demands on you have been high, giving you scant time for reflection. While you have a gift for understanding the larger implications involved, you need some private time to consider the steps to take in the future. You can't just lock yourself in your room for fifteen minutes and expect to come up with profound solutions. You need more seclusion and time to assimilate and process.

Now may be the moment for you to tell everyone to leave you alone. When you are fully ready, you will be able and willing to give others what they need.

The ash is a key to healing the loneliness of the human spirit out of touch with its origins - it can provide a sense of being grounded and of belonging.

You are connected to the web of life and your every thought and action reverberates on that web affecting your reality. It is important to integrate spiritual lessons into your physical life so that you "walk your talk." You may face adversity but have the strength and wisdom to overcome any situation provided you draw on all your resources. They key-like fruit of the ash signifies the unlocking of doors to new knowledge that are hidden within you, so when the going gets tough, look inside for the answers and solutions you seek. Stand firm in your beliefs and stay in the eye of the storm rather than being drawn in to the conflicts of others.
